The inspiration of my paintings is always nature. I take direction from that passion and strive to say something original and meaningful about the subject. These paintings reflect my love of the ocean and observing reef creatures. I paint in a variety of water-media in a semi-representative manner on location and in my sunny Honolulu studio.
A semi-retired health care worker, I have studied with local art teachers and internationally known artists. I have participated in many juried and invitational art shows and have been accepted into the Artists of Hawaii exhibition and my work is in local and national collections.
